I am in Bilbao Spain on business and yesterday I happened to come across some guys taking pictures of a new Ducati. I stopped to talk to him and they are getting ready to into it to the press. They are flying the journalists in today so they can ride it. I went to lunch today in the mountains outside of the city and all I can say is WOW. Perfect roads for this type of bike. I cant say I like the looks, but I think that I would be faster on a lot of roads on this bike then on something like my wifes 1098. I would love to rent a bike here.

Multis have always been really goofy looking, highly functional bikes. I personally prefer the styling of the Terblanche models since it was at least a unique brand of ugly. Killer bikes, though, and as they say, you can't look at it while you're riding it.

I always kinda liked the looks, better than the WTF expression on the BMWs, and the "style" of the VeeStrom.

Does this count as a scoop?

Heh. When the 1150GS came out, upon seeing the asymmetric headlights and beak-like upper front fender, literally my first thought was "cartoon duck that just got hit on the head with a comically oversized mallet."

O_o
