Bought last Saturday. Break in procedure means not revving above 5000 rpm for the first 500 miles. At 82 miles now. 5000 rpm is 60 mph in sixth gear. Who knew?

You can also get a street legal title and tags for around $200 if you already have a dirtbike with lights a "road equipment". I like street legal dirt bikes, they are a riot to commute through downtown Columbus on.

I had a Honda XL 350, 82 model I think? It was a riot everywhere.  Stairs, sidewalks, running from the....oh wait.  Anyhow, it was a 350 4 stroke on a 250 2 stroke frame and suspension with lights and mine had non DOT knobbies, not a good bike for a 19yr old hooligan but super fun.  I've long been a fan of enduros.

Wish I still had all those YSRs that I bought and sold back then for $750. With the restricter out they were pretty fun and definitely a death trap.

My virago 920 project, seat and cowl off something else(like the rest of the bike)and just sitting there for a visual.

Going with dirt bike bars instead of clip ons,old guy needs to be able to ride for more than a half hour.

I put mini moto bars on my SV650, and they were awesome. Sized for an 80 or so. Dirt bend but street width.

I had an Xtrainer lined up but the shiny happy person sold it before I got there.

Plan B was a 200XC-W, which I now think is actually the better choice for me

Seeing all the enduros in here is pretty cool. Something lightweight and has knobbies on it really extends our season. What's not to love about street legal dirt bikes? This was my klx230 from a camping trip last july 4th. Can't wait for spring.

The XT is cool, and the perfect thing for trials-esque grab assin' in first or second gear, but as soon as you click it into third and the trail opens up, the suspension leaves a LOT to be desired.  It was a great reintroduction to modern Enduro bikes, but after 9 months and 40 hours, I'm ready to trade it in.  I'm shopping the Husqvarna and GasGas lineup pretty hard right now, just waiting on approval from my better half.

Sounds great. I don't know if it's the acoustics in your garage but you can really hear the compression. My t140 I don't think I hear it as pronounced as that.

Nice bike. How's the sound of FMF? Want to upgrade the exhaust of my KX250F so I am currently checking my options here-- aftermarket dirt bike exhausts.
