No one from my family would go for the eight hour drive, so totally solo. First part of the trip was cold and clammy, improves by a stop at Bangor chik-fil A.
I was on some great country roads until the gps took me to a dirt road. My phone took me all the way to Lubec after that. I used my head and drove the coastal route home.
Just a great day. Maine still has many country roads with great speed limits. Thank God for convertibles!
Good for you! Once in a while spending all day alone in a car is bliss.
