Maryhill Loops Road is the oldest paved road in Washington state and was considered an engineering marvel, leading the engineer to construct many of the first roads throughout the Pacific Northwest. Featuring 25 turns (8 of them 180 degree switchbacks) in a little over 2 miles, the remaining road is a private one used for hillclimbs and the downhill longboarding world championship. Audi Club NW hosted a Tour up the road and we attended. Here's the result:

Looks like fun! I need to get out there and watch (or participate in) the hill climb.

The actual hill climb is literally this weekend (Sept 18/19)
