This year's featured race will spotlight a field full of genuine Can-Am machines.
Are you a fan of classic Fords, Can-Am cars or heck, pretty much any vintage racing? You won’t want to miss the 2016 Classic Motorsports Mitty presented by Hagerty.
Hundreds of legendary race cars from around the world will be making their way to the beautiful Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia, on April 22-24, 2016. The main attraction—breathtaking vintage racing—will be sanctioned by HSR.
Ford will be the featured marque when the Mitty returns to Road Atlanta. Ford has had a long and storied history in motorsports, and many of the company’s classic race cars will be on display and on track at the Mitty.
Want to relive the glory days of Can-Am racing? This year’s feature race will spotlight a field full of genuine Can-Am machines. 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of one of the loudest and most exciting race series that ever existed. The Can-Am series was actually the first ever event held at Road Atlanta and we plan to bring them back screaming in euphoria.
Off the track, the infield will be buzzing with activity thanks to the Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty. Spectators will enjoy car corrals, vendors and an expansive hospitality tent. Meanwhile, it will all be surrounded by the buzzing excitement of HSR-sanctioned historic racing activities.
So whether you’re a Ford fan or just a sports car enthusiast in general, you’ll want to make plans now to attend the 2016 Classic Motorsports Mitty.
