BMW Unveils 3.0 CSL Hommage Car

This yellow monster is the BMW Design Team’s tribute to the 3.0 CSL, the timeless classic and iconic BMW Coupe from the ‘70s. BMW unveiled it today at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este today in Cernobbio, Italy. Keeping with the lightweight sports motif, the new concept features a carbon fibre body with similar wind-swept features to the original. However, this rendition has a much more aggressive air to it.

Loses the elegance of the original and typical of today's designs, (Aston Martin excepted) it looks over rought.

In reply to Spitsix: I understand it is a show car & almost certainly will have to be toned down if ever produced. But it is a neat concept.

I just wish the color didn't make me gag!!
