You probably won’t have the chance to own a real Porsche 919 Le Mans Prototype, but you do have the chance to own one of only 13 1:1 scale models of that car built by Porsche for promotions.
It’s said to have been built using the same CAD data used for actual 919 that won the 2015 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, yet, perhaps not surprisingly, this one lacks any formal drivetrain.
Finished in the same livery of the 2015 Le Mans winner, this Porsche 919 Le Mans Prototype Model will cross the block at RM Sotheby’s upcoming Open Roads, April auction, with an expected selling price of roughly $94,000 to $141,000.
