Sponsored article presented by eBay Motors.

This 1954 Austin-Healy 100-4 was restored sometime in the 1990s, and has more recently been "refreshed in areas needing attention to make it a sound reliable driver" in 2018 and 2019.

The Austin-Healey 100 was based on the Austin A90 Atlantic and shared many comments such as a 2.6-liter, inline-four engine plus the double-wishbone front and solid axle rear suspensions.

Reported to be capable of 100 mph (hence the name "100"), you can find this clean-looking Austin-Healey on eBay Motors for $42,500.

Insuring your classic car investment may cost less than you think. Learn more.

The Healey 100 is my favourite big Healey. Great styling and although the engine is pretty nasty (worm eaten port sizes, heavy as hell and a rev limit of a heady 4500 rpm) and inadequate brakes,  on the straight they hauled like trains - top speed with windscreen down was between 105 and 110 mph

When prepared right, they can be great fun and the best looking car on the track.....
