Car Catcher: A Lynx-Built Jaguar XKSS Recreation

Sponsored Content Presented by Fantasy Junction.

Although Lynx Engineering started out as a tuning shop for race cars in the late 1960s, the company soon realized the potential of building recreations of those very machines.

This 1957 Jaguar XKSS is one of those recreations, and was completed sometime in 2017. Comprised of a hand-built aluminum tub, the car also features a “majority of components from 1964 Jaguar XKE #30084.”

As well, the listing notes that odometer currently reads 1084 miles, and presents “virtually no evidence of use.”

Beautiful car - except for one thing. That horrid great silencer hung off the driver's side.  Looks like it fell off a Kenworth.
