Car Catcher: This 1977 Rubber Bumper MGB Has a V8

Here's why a rubber bumper MGB makes a great car: This 1977 MGB has been fitted with a 4.2-liter Rover V8 crate engine along with a whole host of other goodies, including new suspension bushings. Delightfully it retains the rubber bumpers, and is finished in an oh-so-'70s color called Sandglow. Find this hopped-up MGB on Bring a Trailer with four days left and bidding at $7000.

I love that color. Wheels are good for it. With a v8 I have to assume this is a pretty fun car.

I like the color, too. And after hearing an uncorked Rover V8 at Mid-Ohio, I have no doubt this thing sounds amazing.
