The DB6 received many improvements over its iconic predecessor. For example, the wheelbase was elongated to add more rear legroom, body-on-frame construction was chosen for increased strength, and the roofline was raised by 2 inches to improve headroom for the driver and passengers.
This 1967 Aston Martin DB6 offered by Fantasy Junction takes that last upgrade a step further, giving all occupants in the car unlimited headroom with a convertible top.
Finished in black over tan, this DB6 comes with a well-documented history that includes ownership by John T. Dorrance, son of the president of the Campbell Soup Company. Also mentioned in its history is the replacement of the original three-speed automatic with a period-correct ZF five-speed manual.
Under the hood is a 4.0-liter inline-six said to be good for 282 horsepower. The 37,500 miles on the odometer are "believed to be representative of original miles."
