Classic Motorsports Car Catcher: Navy Moke

Everyone needs a Moke. This one’s even cooler than normal. It’s an Australian right-hand-drive example outfitted in navy green paint and graphics to replicate the ones used on aircraft carrier decks in the 1960s and ‘70s. Wirewheel.com is offering it for $23,900. Looks like it would make a great pit cruiser.

So, what would they use the shovel for on an aircraft carrier?

I saw one of those (possibly that specific one) at the Lime Rock vintage weekend last Labor Day weekend tooling around the paddock. A bit too funky for me. I prefer the classic Mini look instead.

Ever been to a vintage race event? There's money to burn. What's a pimped out golf cart run?
