How a team of Nissan employees set a Bonneville speed record in their spare time | Coming Soon to an issue near you

In 1976, a red, white and blue Datsun 240Z blasted across the Bonneville Salt Flats at over 160 mph, securing its team–comprised entirely of Nissan employees–a Bonneville record that would stand unbroken until the ‘80s.

In the upcoming November 2021 issue of Classic Motorsports, we cover the story of that team and their record-breaking Datsun.
