Holding a record 38 wins in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti has become one of the most recognizable cars to have competed in the series. And now, you have the opportunity to own one of these race machines in the form of this 1996 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti.

Noted as being the final iteration of the Ti rated for nearly 500 horsepower, this particular example was also piloted by Nicola Larini during the 1996 DTM season (then called the International Touring Car Championship), winning at Mugello and Interlagos.

In 2018, the Alfa Romeo was refreshed to compete in the DTM Classic Series. This work is reported to have cost more than 350,000 euros (approximately $428,000), with a “particular focus on retaining the chassis’ attractive patina and original components.”

Available through RM Sotheby’s at its upcoming Milan auction, this 1996 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti expected to sell for 700,000-800,000 Euros (roughly $856,000-$978,000).

Alessandro Naninni's sister to this car is in the Alfa Museo Storico.  Interestingly it doesn't use the famed Alfa Busso 60 degree V6 because the regulations specified a 90 degree configuration.  They were able to use a Pugeot V6 that complied as the basis for the DTM car.
