Rick Hendrick adds another No. 1 to his collection

NASCAR Cup Series team owner Rick Hendrick loves Corvettes, especially the first ones off the production line. He just added another No. 1 to his collection: the first 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray.

Hendrick’s winning bid was $1.1 million at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction on April 15.

Of that amount, 100% will go toward DonorsChoose. The charity has helped fund more than 2.5 million classroom projects by helping connect donors with educators’ requests.

The E-Ray will join more than 100 other Corvettes in Hendrick’s personal collection.
