“Roaring:” See fine examples of 1920s-1930s French automobiles

Bugatti. Citroën. Delahaye. Delage. Voison. Talbot-Lago. These French marques represented some of the finest automobiles during 1920s to 1930s. And you can see them among 12 cars in the special exhibit “Roaring: Art, Fashion, and the Automobile in France, 1918–1939” at the Saint Louis Art Museum.

The museum says the exhibit features “cars alongside paintings, photographs, sculpture, furniture, and fashion to spotlight the automobile’s transformative influence on art, design, and modern life between the world wars.”
