The Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge kicked off the weekend and was largely dominated by the Stevenson Camaros in GS and the Next Level European Porsche Cayman in ST.
One of the Burton BMWs had a catastrophic wheel failure on the very bumpy Turn 17.
Davis and Liddell walked away with top honors in the Stevenson Motorsports Camaro for the second straight year at Sebring.
Next Level European claimed the top spot in the ST class, boosting them to first place in the series.
The 12 Hours of Sebring is also an HSR event. We were treated to a variety of legendary racers lapping the track.
Brian Redman and Hans Stuck were a couple of the many great drivers at the event.
We don't like going to races without getting the full experience. So we camped all weekend in the infamous Green Park.
Wander the paddock at Sebring and you'll find some very interesting vehicles mixed in with the racing machines. They call this thing a Safari RS.
We also stumbled upon this very angry Viper.
The 12-hour feature race went down without too many hiches. The classic sunset view of turn one was specially breathtaking this year.
At the end of the day, Action Express claimed victory.

This year’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring marked the 63rd running of this historic endurance race. The event consists of HSR historic races, a Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race, and, of course, the main event, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

The Continental Tire Challenge race was largely dominated by Chevy power. The Stevenson Camaros finished first and second. Meanwhile, our friends at Next Level European snatched the victory in ST class. That shot them into first place in the standings after two races.

The 12-hour race started with three cautions within the first couple hours but as the race wore on, the racing grew cleaner. After the sun went down, and the race drew to a close, Chevy again proved fastest at Sebring. The number 5 Action Express Racing Corvette Daytona Prototype, driven by Joao Barbosa, Sebastien Bourdais and Christian Fittipaldi, claimed overall victory.
