Cooling the Tornado

In one of our previous updates, we mentioned that we had obtained a new aluminum radiator for our project Tornado Typhoon. Now that we have the engine in the car, it’s down to fabricating and running the coolant lines.

We made a call to Burns Stainless, who supplied us with some beautifully made, thin wall, aluminum tubing in various sizes and shapes. We then put it together to make a simple, clean path from engine to radiator to top tank. Since the engine sits higher than the radiator in this application, we would need to retain the original remotely located top tank.
