Getting Accepted at the Amelia Island Concours

We were going to get a leisurely start on our Tornado Typhoon project until a lunch meeting with Amelia Island Concours founder, Bill Warner, changed everything.

He mentioned to us that he was going to have a class for forgotten fiberglass cars at the 2015 Amelia Island Concour de’Elegance.

We told him about our Typhoon. He seemed surprised at how cool the car looked and asked us if we could get it done and ready for the big show just ten months away.

And thus begins our story. Our premise on this whole idea, was that if you picked your car right, you could get invited to some of the world’s biggest events, for what amounted to MGB money.

If we could get the car done, we were on our way.
