Our first outing in 2003 for our 1957 TR3 is next week and we are almost ready. Co-driver and chief wrench, J.K. Jackson, has the car and is prepping it for the season. New hardened axles are a good safety move, especially since we now have collected all the pieces we need to build that killer high power engine we have always wanted. As of last week, our old nearly stock engine put out 107 horsepower at the wheels. This puts us down at least 25-30 against the best cars we run against. We will remedy that and write about how we did it.
