There is a simple attachment point at the pedal end. To be honest, we’re not 100% happy with it.
Come on! Don't leave us with a cliff hanger!
Just why are you not 100% happy with it?

The next item on our Elva sports racer’s to-do list was to figure out how the throttle cable was going to be routed. While we did not have the throttle cable operational at this point, we needed to know if it was going to require any new brackets welded to the frame.
The path from the throttle pedal to the carburetors was more than 10 feet long. That is a very long cable, and it would not be easy to find.
We did find a Venhill universal motorcycle throttle cable kit (part No. VWK003-BK ) on Amazon. At $44.98, our risk to try it seemed fairly low. It arrived quickly and was plenty long enough.

At the other end, though, we have a beautifully made linkage kit from Pierce Manifolds that allows for dual throttle cables as required in Europe for vintage racing.
As we were going to take everything back apart to paint the frame, we decided that while this might require a second cable and a better mounting system at the pedal, we did not need to add a new tab to the frame.
