My truck's doors didn't shut too well after I put new door seals in, but they started shutting just fine after giving the seals a couple weeks to break in.
Once we finished the doors on our Mini Cooper S, we had trouble shutting them. We called the Heritage Garage and asked them if they had heard of this problem. They told us that many of the door seals sold for Minis are too thick and don’t fit correctly. They recommended another set of seals that were known to fit well.
We ordered these thinner seals. They arrived and fit perfectly. At the same time we had our expert, Tom Prescott of the Body Werks, adjust our doors so they shut easily and perfectly.
