We figured replacing the Mini’s thermostat would be a five-minute job. Try five weeks. The housing has welded itself to the block. Before we break out the heavy artillery, we ordered up a new T-stat housing for $16. Of course, we’re assuming that our overheating problems can be traced to the thermostat.
