With both rocker panels fixed, we can turn our attention to the front of our 2002tii project—the fender mounting flanges, to be specific. These are available as new replacement parts, and we’ll be cutting off the old ones before replacing them with new sheet metal.
From there, we can start getting the nose section back on the car. Completing this step is really a matter of getting the order right. To mount the nose correctly, the fenders need to be installed. Before we can install the fenders, the doors need to be hung. And before we can hang the doors, these fender mounting flanges need to be replaced. Got that?
