1974 Jensen-Healey Mark II

Meet my street car’s stablemate! This is a 1974 Jensen Healey Mk II, it’s a pre 5 speed car. I got this as a free rolling chassis with the cage already installed, that cage was pro built by a shop in North Carolina. The car is built loosely to SCCA E Mod specs, it is legal for that class but needs to lose about 200 pounds and gain about 50 HP to even think about taking it to the Nationals. It has Miata front brakes and RX7 rears, the rear axle is an RX2 with a clutch type limited slip from a first gen RX7. The R&P is a 4:30 from a Miata. The shocks are QA1 adjustable coilovers, the front springs are 800 inch pound (!) and the rears are 250. The engine is a 1991 13B turbo with stock turbo and engine management, 9:7-1 rotors and a front mount intercooler. The trans is currently a NA RX7 unit, plans are to swap in a TII trans soon.
