1981 BMW 320i

This car has been my baby since March 2014. I am the second registered owner. The first was a chiropractor from Denver who passed away. The car was in overall extremely clean condition for being 36 years old, although she’s not perfect. The paint was shot, but the body was straight and the interior clean. I found no evidence of rust, so I pulled the trigger and saved it from certain death rotting under a tree here in Colorado. Details: 1981 BMW 320I (s). Alpina replica. Current Modifications: Refreshed 1.8L engine built by me. Also have a forged 2.0 ready to build. Head resurfaced, new valve seats, 3 angle valve job, gasket port matched. New Luk pressure plate with a MIBA ceramic 6-puck clutch and a resurfaced flywheel Transmission got new input and output seals, new guibo, new mount. DIY turbo system. Currently set at 12 psi, but capable of 21 psi with current equipment: Borg Warner kO4s turbocharger. Manifold from sch40 mild, ceramic coated and fully TIG welded and decked flat by a machine shop, then ceramic coated. Sheetmetal center console VDO boost gauge, oil pressure, oil temp, and battery voltage APSX wideband digital volt meter I suppose all I can say is that it’s very unique… Not another one with the same setup anywhere in the world (so far as I know). Estimated 180hp @ 12psi (current). 230hp @18psi. 250hp+ @ 21psi. The car only weighs 2300lbs, so it SCOOTS.
