This is a great looking car. It looks agressive and sleak. Does it handle like the 1951-1954 J2X's or better? Is this a track ready sports racer or is it both a racer and show car?

There is no comparison between the Mk2 and the '51-'54. The wheel base is 106" (like the ZO6) vs 96"; brakes are disc vs drum; rack & pinion steering with IFS & rear suspension vs Ford truck axle and Marles steering box; very rigid chassis vs very flexible chassis; 5-speed vs 3-speed; where do I stop. The Mk2 is basically a performance street car that was built by race guys. It can be thrown around the track with no hesitation. It handles well and precisely, with a very balanced ride. To make this a full track car, all you need to add is a third leg on the external roll bar, put a fuel cell in, a kill-switch on the outside, fire equipment, change the steering wheel (wood not allowed) to a removable one and your set to rock & roll. Lots of fun! I do all of my prototype testing and customer testing on the track + lapping at events.

This car is located in Rhode Island. Does a number of shows and cruz' in the area. Different color J2X MkIIs can also be seen in Arizona, Ohio, Kansas, California, and Montreal. More states to come as they are completed. Build time is approx. 8 weeks or less, depending on the options.
