2006 G35 Sedan 6M with Aero and Sport package. Bought it in Atlanta and drove it home to Coaldale Alberta. Just got home yesterday. Approx 3700 km’s. Long trip, but the car is a highway monster. It’s my first experience with the VQ35 and its a great motor. The sport suspension package is a very nice balance in the ride vs. handling compromise. Fuel economy isn’t great, but not too bad. My best tank on the trip home was 37.3 mpg (imperial gallons). The clutch is a little tricky, but I’ve got it nailed down now. Big shout out to Roswell Infinity. Very accomodating and helpful. More updates to come as I get more familiar with the car. Update-Just got back from a 1500km trip (return) from the south end of the Okanogan valley in British Columbia. Hwy 3 goes over several 5000-6000 ft passes and winds through some of the most beatiful scenery in the country. On the way back on Sunday, traffic was light and the G proved to be a wonderful dance partner. The VQ would pull the hills easily in 6th, but then I couldn’t hear it…so 4th and 5th saw quite a bit of time as well. Awesome, accurate steering, and comfy seats for the 10 hr trip. I’m loving this car, and I’ve come to believe that they are very under-rated.
