1969 MG MGC GT

Owned since 1980, I finally got this special car rebuilt/restored/modified the way I have always wanted it to be. Many updates and improvements: ‘73 dash and console, ‘72 seats improved with air adjustable and MGC-only additional lumbar support, Up-rated torsion bars, poly and harder front suspension bushings, added leaf in rear springs, ADDCO stiffer front and added rear anti-roll bars, adjustable SPAX dampers all around, traction bars and Mumford Link locating rear axle. Dayton 6” wide stainless wire wheels mounted with 205/60HR15 BFGs. Comfortable at speed with dead pedal and passenger footrest. Engine went in on May 2nd and left home on the 24th for a trip across country, including meeting up with the Classic Motorsports Smokey Mtn. Tour on the Tail of the Dragon. Three weeks and nearly 7000 miles later we were back home. Cruises well at almost any speed and 80 is just as easy as 55mph. Two shows since and three second place trophies (always second to a roadster, it seems) and another 1500 miles on the clock and has already landed in a calendar.
