Datsun 1200

20

This isn’t my car anymore . But I used to own and raced it a couple of years ago at Waterford Hills a small road coarse north of Detroit Mi . This was absolutely the most frustrating and absolutely most fun car I have ever raced . I really wish I still had it . This car was built back in the early 80’s as an SCCA GT-5 racecar and was built from the Datsun Competition B-Sedan blueprints . It’s a partial tube chassis/tub car with fiberglass hood , fenders , doors and trunk lid . Engine was the A-series 1200 with twin 44mm Mikuni carbs . This engine would pull 8900 rpm all day long . Did I mention I wished that I still had this car ? www.waterfordhills.com
