My “daily driver” for 8 years, the MX-5 NC is finally a trailer queen! It now has a PartsGroup-sourced, Jesse Prather Motorsports-built 2013 MZR 2.0L motor; Moto-East aluminum intake and 3” CAI and 1.5 cams, running E85 with ECUTek RaceROM tuning, EGR removed, Peterson oil catch can/breather, and cat-less custom Vorshlag Motorsports 2.5” exhaust; and KoyoRad 36mm aluminum radiator and Mishimoto oil cooler. Wheels are 18x10.5” and 18x11” Enkei RS05RR wheels with 295/30 and 315/20 Yokohama A052 tires (18x10” and 18x10.5” RPF1s with 285/30 and 295/30 Yokohama AD08R rain setup), under DG fender flares; AST 5220 RX-8 coilovers with w/Hyperco springs, Hotchkis RX-8 front and rear swaybars, PowerFlex PU bushings, and Mazdaspeed LSD. Racing Brake 13.1” front BBK and RX-8 rear brakes, Hawk HP+ brake pads, Goodridge SS brake lines, and AWR brake ducts. Mazda OEM removable hard top, Sparco Pro2000 II LF seats, harnesses, and 383 steering wheel.
