A fairly rare car, the AWD Mazda Protege is the non-turbo lame duck cousin to the Familia GTX and GTR available elsewhere in the world. My car is slowly but surely being added upon and upgraded as my funds allow. Soon to be mods include suspension, brakes, and the ever popular Mazda BPT engine swap. To make things a bit more difficult on myself, I’ve decided to give it the GTR treatment, a far rarer engine and transmission to find.
