1968 Fiat 124 Spider

The nicest early spider in the world I would guess, especially after 7 grand of paint and every other thing attended to. Original interior, extensive service records and on 63k original miles. It is going to be sold at Russo and Steele’s Monterey auction.

Fiat Spyder. Yes! Yet even more delightful was my 1961 Pininfarina 1200 Spyder. In a time when MGs & Triumphs were in the dark ages, this refined Italian offered so much more. i.e. one could sit in the driver's seat, reach back with your right arm, pull up the smooth, refined convertible top, latch it to the windshield frame without effort, and actually ROLL UP the door windows!
