This car is a ‘78 Signature edition Fiat X1/9 number 0924. The car is mostly stock except for a few tasteful modifications. I am the 3rd owner of the car having purchased it in August 24 2010 with 34,xxx original miles. On 10/24/10 I ran my first autocross. With a few tips from a friend and former multi-time DSP national champion, my first time out was enjoyable. My times constantly improved through out the day and every run were “clean” runs. The plan for this winter is to install a Yugo 1100 head, 34 series Weber carb and ‘new’ full exhaust. This is my ride, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Update: 2/21/11 The car is in the middle of a full engine rebuild as mentioned above. The expected time for completion is April. After an engine break-in period and a little time to “learn” the car I will be using #0924 in July to lead a caravan from PA to TN to the Fiat Freak Out being held in Nashville.
