1984 BMW 633 CSi

Bought a few years ago as an all original ‘rust-free’ New Jersey car. Really the greatest ‘grand tourer’ I have ever owned (or driven). We took the car on a 27,000 km trip across North America and up the Dempster Highway to Inuvik in the Canadian Arctic. Absolutely impressive how the - still original - coupe handled the drive. And, we were always kind of surprised how relaxed we got out of the car each evening, and just ready for a nice meal and a drink, after up to 13 hours of driving per day. Mind you the whole trip was a project to survey elevation profiles along major highways to be employed to calibrate satellite image data to higher accuracy for mapping.
