1986 Saab 900

15

This is a rare 2-door notchback (only ~2k imported to the US, and only in ‘85-‘86) I picked up for $400. I converted it to a Turbo, with a B212 bottom end; ‘95 B234 head customized to fit the earlier block; Volvo Turbo Jetronic ECU & associated fuel bits; little Mitsu TE05 turbo; 4-speed w/Quaife from the good people at Scanwest Autosport; DIY adjustable suspension made from roundy-round parts; ‘88+ axles; and some other stuff. Car is still rough — its restoration paused for several years now — but fun to drive, nonetheless.
