1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT [Champagne Metalic]

The car had been sitting idle in the back yard of the original owner’s home for the past 10-12 years when he gave it to me last week. I worked for the local Alfa dealership when the car was sold new and had performed the pre-delivery inspection and the first three scheduled services on the car. My found my signature in the service coupon booklet that was still in the glove box. It has some issues, but nothing that can’t be fixed. It may not be roadworthy for at least a year, but it has a good home now.

Despite our history, sadly this car will not survive. The LeMans blue car is in far better shape and will make a much better finished product. It will sacrifice a few parts to the other car and probably end up going to the crusher unless someone local wants to make a race car out of it.
