What I learned from this is that if you want your classic sports car to look cooler, add a ski rack and some old skis.
The Porsche 914, long forgotten by serious collectors, has been gaining substantial upward traction as of late. RM Sotheby's brought in $67,200 for this very clean, very hard-to-miss 1974 Porsche 914. It looks like a remarkable example, with extensive documentation, original Olympic Blue paint and an engine claimed to be original. Hagerty values a No. 1 condition Porsche 914 at $75,000, with a No. 2 generally fetching $41,000. Will 914 values continue to rise?
