When you close your eyes and picture a '70s British Grand Tourer car with V8 power, what do you see? Chances are pretty high you chose a Jensen Interceptor. This 1974 Jensen Interceptor—with its Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera design and Chrysler power—is considered a Mark III example, which saw minor cosmetic updates over its predecessors, along with a switch from a 383-cubic-inch V8 to a 440-cubic-inch V8. Find this Mark III Interceptor on offer at eBay Motors with bidding currently at $8801 with almost six days to go and the reserve not met. Hagerty values a No. 2 example at $39,600—will this example exceed that?

I have owned a few Jensens and still have a 71 Mk 3 Interceptor and confirm that they are one of the smoothest British grand tourers around.
The one in the auction was built in January of 1974 and left the factory as a silver gray car with red interior, a striking enough combination, but I think that the non-stock green on green really stands out.

That's right, you have an Interceptor. Consider me envious.
Silver over red does sound pretty striking.
