I saw the Jenson Interceptor (which caught my eye) and a red 911 come by my house the other day. I see they were part of the tour group.
The Classic Motorsports Smoky Mountain Tour, our annual exploration of some of the finest driving roads in and around the Smoky Mountains, wrapped up its 2022 outing today after a week full of memorable experiences.
This all-inclusive classic sports car tour is part of the Hagerty Touring Series and is presented by Porsche Classic in association with RM Sotheby’s.
Once again, the tour was based at the Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, Georgia. From there, tour guests trekked out to experience everything this region of the country has to offer–including plenty of driving, of course.
Highlights from this year’s tour include parade laps around Atlanta Motorsports Park, a visit to the highest point in Georgia, lunch at some of Georgia’s most historic restaurants and a visit to the unique Miles Through Time Museum.
The crowd favorite of the Smoky Tour, however, would have to be driving the legendary Tail of the Dragon, a bucket-list-worthy item for any motoring enthusiast.

It's actually just called The Dragon. Tail of the Dragon is a business formed to capitalize on the popularity of the area.
