It would be cool if this means IMSA will broadcast on their website.
Last year's event brought tons of of priceless vintage racers.
Last year the inaugural HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona brought 24 straight hours of historic sports car racing back to Daytona International Speedway. They’re planning to return this year on November 11-15 with even more muscle. IMSA has signed on as a supporter of the event. In theory that means we can expect an even larger spectator show-out and maybe a couple more competitors. Last year teams traveled from 21 different countries in order to compete. This second year should be fantastic.

i hope they dont put some restrictions on some of the cars. back around 1999-2000 they had a late november open house run what you brung race! a lot of GTP IMSA cars of the 1980s 1990s, they where fast, but the Stars of the show, where the late 1960s-1974 Can-AM and F5000 cars, most with upgraded BRAKES and tires and wheels(modern tech), of course those antique BBC Chevys, upgraded with 20+ yrs of tech, puttin out over 1000-1200 HP, wher just out of control, 22" wide soft rubber modern tires, comin out of the Horseshoe, layin down 300' black streaks!
a great show, untill the powers that be, said no more of that nonsense, anyone over the insurance speed limits o 250MPH cant qualify for race, rumors wher Can AMs where hitting 255-260 on the Daytona back strech! we shall see what goes legal with todays cars!
