I couldn't be there, but here's how my buddy Jim Perry did, including some in-car video:
The track is full, from dawn to dusk.
The car corrals have filled nicely, especially the BMW corral.
The Coker Tire Tour made its way through mountain roads and ended up here at the Mitty.
The Masters USA series has been a real treat, featuring many classic Formula 1 cars.
We’re through two days of 2015 Classic Motorsports Mitty with one left to go. It’s been an amazing year so far. Our only worry was the weather, but after some intermittent rain Saturday morning, it turned out to be a beautiful day.
The track is packed with rare blue chip racers and Miatas alike, a combination hard to find anywhere else. The Masters USA series has been a huge hit, with classic Formula 1 cars gracing ears with their song.
Our own Tim Suddard was on live TV Friday morning on Good Day Atlanta, chatting about the Classic Motorsports Mitty. You can watch that excerpt here.
Want to get out to Road Atlanta and check it out? Tickets are available at the gate. Tomorrow will also include the inaugural Traqmate Skidpad Challenge at the Road Atlanta skidpad. We hope to see you there!
