Yes, it’s finally happening: We are going to sell our Group 44 Inc. Triumph GT6+. This is the very car that Mike Downs drove to a 1969 SCCA national title. Since we restored this historic racer, it has won a trophy at Amelia Island and run at the last Steve Earl-era Monterey Historics, making its eligibility for vintage events beyond question. The car will cross the block at this year’s RM Auctions Monterey, August 17-18.
