It's way easier than that! On my '82 Scirocco, I just drilled the holes in the back of the damper to let the oil out and pushed the bumpers in, didn't even take them off the car... They haven't moved in over 20 years.

It's way easier than that! On my '82 Scirocco, I just drilled the holes in the back of the damper to let the oil out and pushed the bumpers in, didn't even take them off the car... They haven't moved in over 20 years.
