The Citroën DS 19 was considered one of the most innovative cars of its time. Aerodynamic design. Hydropneumatic suspension. Disc brakes. It’s no wonder why the car received so many accolades over the years.
Noted coachbuilder Henri Chapron designed this Décapotable (convertible) example. Citroën built only 1365 of these convertibles.
This DS 19 underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2006, which included overhauling the hydraulic system, body panels, paintwork, upholstery and convertible top. The Citroën also carries a certification from Noëlle Chapron.
