I bought this car recently for the purpose of dailying it but I just really need a truck and to get rid of some of my cars. I just want this thing out of my driveway and on to someone who will love and car for it. Shoot me a text If you are interested or want specific pictures of specific elements of the car. The goods:
2.4l Swap (no info on motor but runs strong)
Gauge Cluster with TACH
SRT Oiling System
Iceman Intake
Short Shifter
TMN Adapter and Poly Lower Front Engine Mount
Booger Bushings
Rear Strut tower Brace
Battery Moved to the Truck Properly.
NO FREAKING RUST
New Windshield and wether stripping
The Truth:
I know very little about this car. Other than what modifications it has on it, That the paint is good for a neon but not great by any standards. It has some dents and pealing Clear. The roof is the worst. I Will be doing some paint and Headlight/ taillight restoration on it this week. It has crappy blue tint that is peeling on that I will remove. The interior is Clean and nice no rips or anything on the seats. The steering wheel is falling apart. Again It's a starting point for a great build for autoX or rallyX or just a good solid NO RUST Daily.
The Bad (Its all relative right?)
The car doesn't have power steering, a/c or heat.
Hood is green?
Clear Coat is peeling.
Its got crap tires and wheels on it but they hold air and will get you home.
Rides not so nice. It appears to have lower springs in the front and stockers in the back.
Has a ricer dual tip far can on it but the car actually sounds nice. Not loud and raspy but low and muffled.
I will post more pictures as Once i get the car properly detailed and do some paint restoration etc.

As long as the registration is current and I can move it occasionally, you only have to come home with one.

I just hate them on neons. With a passion. My hunt is a shell to build a 2.4 swapped acr clone.
Additionally, my wife gave me the "I'll berkeleying beat you to death with a garden hose" look when i told her.....
Probably still would have done it if not for the sunroof.

The mechanism for the neon sunroof is pretty unreliable. This one appears to be an aftermarket though.
The Sunroof was sealed by the glass guy when the windshield and weather stripping was done. Its now a moonrooof not a sunroof.
This is so mechanically close to my rallycross car, and I’ve got the second fastest MF class car in my region. If anyone is looking for an awesome start to a fwd rallycrosser, this is it.
I drove the car to work today. Im in trouble haha. I really like this little car. I never thought I'd like a neon but this little thing is awesome!
