Ok folks, call it automotive ADD or what you will, oddly enough its just the opposite. I let my AADD get to me when I bought this but I realize I really want the time/space/money to plan/prepare and execute Wartburg 2.0 (you ain't seen nuttin yet)

So the Nash is up for grabs.

Im into it for a little more than $750 so here's the deal.

$500 for the car and another $250 for all the parts you DONT NEED but can sell off for more than the car. I'll even throw in a list of buyers who are waiting for me to get off my butt and sell them.

Or you can take the car for $500 and I'll take those parts off myself (headlights, cowl lights, tail light, gauge cluster, misc bits and pieces)

As far as some details to help you figure out what to do with it. The wheelbase is 121" same as a b-body Caddy fleedwood from the early 90s. Or and extended cab longbed S10. Easy chassis donors there. Or use the current frame (solid) and build up a nice little odd rod out of it.

The body is actually very solid, lots and lots of surface rust but very little rot.

why NJ.. Why?

I would buy this thing in 1 minute if transportation wouldn't be such a headache.

Good luck to someone on this one.

Grrrrr.....I need to stop reading these ads.

Jim, that's a wonderful project, and the price is right. If nobody here will give it a home, throw it up on the HAMB.

It's already there for a slightly higher price. Odd rods are a bit of a weird sell. If this was a ford or chevy I could triple the price and it would be gone tomorrow.

If I had unlimited space I'd hang on to it, but Im really just not done with the Wartburg and I want to get back to it. If I can sell the Nash I'll be picking up a 2.0T motor next.

The thing that I hate is that I actually do have room for it in the "stable", but that I'm so slow with my own datsun project that it would sit, neglected for several years before I could do anything with it.

Appleton, WI.

What's it weigh? I'm assuming it's probably ~6000lb load with trailer?

Not as much as you might imagine. I think its right around the 3k mark but I dont remember off the top of my head. Most of the weight is in that huge lump of a straight 6.

Yep, it takes a canvas over woodframe for the roof. I was just going to rebuild it all in steel.

That is such an awesome opportunity for somebody... must resist... that LS1 on a stand in my garage is really begging for a suitable home. ;-)

It's tentatively spoken for by another forum member but if you are serious about wanting it I'll press to make sure he's still in.

That's what I was thinking when I bought it. 6BT diesel and a reinforced frame and its ready to tow! I was going to make it a sedan delivery too. Sigh...too little space and time and thanks to my enabling friend Sonic I have yet another car to deal with now.

I still have regret pangs every time I go out to the garage, better get it out of here before I loose/change my mind ;)

Sounds like it's staying in the family, that means visitation privileges to ease your pangs.

The pangs are eased knowing it's going to a great guy who will do amazing things with it, and the money from the sale is buying a EJ20T for the Wartburg ;)
