If only they had the title, the want is strong

You might check your state laws, a lot of places don't require titles for vehicles that old.

I need that in my life, though I'd prefer a '60-'66.

Still have the 6.2 Suburban, Cooter?

I am liking the squareback in the bed...

The package deal would be better. Can't believe that I scored a squareback for free years ago for the motor for my 72 bus.

Pre-1972 is doable in NY, but New Mexico is quite a road trip.

Yup, she's still going strong. She actually starts better in cold weather than warm, but she always starts. Just turned 133K with her today. I keep threatening an NV3500, but the trans never really seems to get any worse. I need to take the tailgate apart to fix the rear window motor; only runs down now.

The switch that tells if the door is closed all the way is failing/failed, just jumper it out of the loop. Same thing happened to mine.

I had that issue once before. I remember the culprit being an old wiring kludge, but I can't recall the details. Shouldn't be a big deal.

I'm so glad you bought that truck.

Thank you both for the info.

She has been our go-to long distance hauler since we bought her for that trip to ABQ and back. I am literally driving the wheels off of her; it is time to replace tires. We need to meet up the next time I am down that way.

Absolutely. I'd like that.

Fixed! I re-kludged the kludge.
