The package deal would be better. Can't believe that I scored a squareback for free years ago for the motor for my 72 bus.

Yup, she's still going strong. She actually starts better in cold weather than warm, but she always starts. Just turned 133K with her today. I keep threatening an NV3500, but the trans never really seems to get any worse. I need to take the tailgate apart to fix the rear window motor; only runs down now.

The switch that tells if the door is closed all the way is failing/failed, just jumper it out of the loop. Same thing happened to mine.

I had that issue once before. I remember the culprit being an old wiring kludge, but I can't recall the details. Shouldn't be a big deal.
I'm so glad you bought that truck.
Thank you both for the info.
She has been our go-to long distance hauler since we bought her for that trip to ABQ and back. I am literally driving the wheels off of her; it is time to replace tires. We need to meet up the next time I am down that way.
