It doesn't look that bad. My dad bought a 1960 version of that exact same car! Spent many a vacation in the back seat looking at the country as it receded into the distance, you see you sat facing backwards in the rear seat!
I'm not an AMC nerd, but I did learn to drive when the family car was a 1962 Classic. The svelte modern styling (oooh! curved side glass!) of this one tells me it's a 1963-up.
