Time to go Rally Crossing!
I am associated- This used to be mine, but is now my daughter's. It is her daily driver, and has been in our family for about 10 years.
It is a 1.8L, and the engine runs strong. 5 speed shifts smoothly. Clutch is worn.
The car is up to date on pretty much all maintenance. Decent tires, recent fluids, tuneup and O2 sensor changes.
Body is rust free, but it has been hit several times on the passenger side. It's wearing a mismatched rear door. The front fender, front door, A pillar, rear quarter, back bumper, and 1 tail light are all damaged. None of the damage was ever severe enough to affect the operating or alignment of the car. Car looks pretty good on the driver's side.
It has new carpet, and a pair of WRX seats. Interior panels are mismatched and have a couple cracks.
She is asking $1000 or best offer. The car is in Atlanta.
Do you have any pictures?
Hah, I've been looking for an Impreza just like this locally. GLWS, a bit too far.
Is isn't green, is it?

Its black.
I'll see about pictures, but might be after the holiday.
I MIGHT have a rebuildable EG33 for sale shortly after new years. IF you waned it and pick this thing up I could probably be persuaded to let it go cheap. Just to help a guys out.

Really weird.
Somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong. I pasted the link below into the "Insert Link" window, and it is linking back to this page.
Here's a direct version of the link (which works):

What kind of mileage does that 1.8 get attached to AWD? My 88 with a 1.8 got awesome mileage, only FWD though.
Any idea on what they're rated to tow?

No idea on towing.
I think it gets mid 20's for fuel economy.
I drove that exact model and [color] for a couple years, averaged 26-28 mpg over that span.
Looks decent, still wish it was closer.

Thanks. It has served us very well.
Still available? Looking for something to STI swap and my brother is in Bragg...

Bragg...You mean like Fort Bragg? North Carolina?
That's about 6 hours from Atlanta.
But yes. Still available.
In reply to SVreX:
His brother's in BENNING, not Bragg.
Repeated blunt trauma to the head will do that to a guy...
Sorry if I missed it, but how many miles on it and how hard it is to do a clutch? I have no experience with scoobies.

Pretty easy to do a clutch. Drain the coolant, pull the rad, unbolt the trans, and the engine will come out with an engine crane. People that do it often say they can do it in 45min-1hour. I can't
As Haynes says, - "Installation is the reverse of removal".

Hmm... I've always dropped the trans. Still not hard.
My daughter has been driven it for several years without any degeneration in the clutch. But she drives REALLY tame. Whenever I drive it, I'm aware of it.
Mileage... Not sure. I'll check.
I think it's 4 nuts/bolts to remove the trans from the motor.
If it was Bragg, I'd own it by now. That said, I'm surprised you still have it, Subarus seem to disappear rapidly in my area.
